COMMISSIONER REAPPOINTED TO THE ALRC
Attorney-General Robert McClelland today announced the re-appointment of Professor Leslie McCrimmon as a full-time member of the Australian Law Reform Commission.
Professor McCrimmon has been a full-time member of the Commission since 2005 and has been instrumental in the Commission's review of the Privacy Act 1988.
Professor McCrimmon has made an important contribution to the Commission in driving the research and public consultation in the reference work.
His re-appointment will assist the Commission to undertake any new reference work at the completion of the Privacy Inquiry.
Professor McCrimmon has been reappointed to 30 June 2009.
