Appointment to National Academy of Music board - Mr David Mackintosh

Today I announce the appointment of Mr David Mackintosh to the Australian National Academy of Music Board for a three year term.
Mr Mackintosh brings valuable experience across a number of sectors including as board member of the Australian World Orchestra and as Chair of the Victorian Food and Wine Tourism Council.
He joins a distinguished Board of Directors who contribute both corporate expertise and industry experience to the organisation. Together, they enhance the Academy’s strategic objectives as one of the world’s premier classical music performance training institutions.
Mr Mackintosh is an award winning restaurateur and consultant in the industry. He is the co-founder of the Movida Group and currently co-owns and directs a number of Melbourne based restaurants.
The Australian National Academy of Music is one of Australia’s seven national arts training organisations providing training to Australia’s most talented and promising young musicians who aspire to national and international careers as soloists, ensemble and orchestral musicians.
The Academy is a subsidiary of the University of Melbourne, established in 1995 in partnership with the Commonwealth and Victorian governments.
